This is really beautiful 5 star resort on the hill - if you are lucky enough with the weather, you can see mountains and the view is fantastic. We stayed in bungalow which was nicely decorated and has amazing wooden smell. They have sauna at the resort and few pools, we used it everyday, so relaxing

Reception staff were absolutely exceptional - always most helpful. My room was of a good size and most comfortable, and it had a superb view from the large balcony. Breakfasts were great with a range of high quality international cuisine.

The property is clean, the staff is incredibly helpful. They help arrange late night bus and let us wait in the lobby(which is very comfortable) and use the bathroom/shower. The breakfast also very delicious with so many fresh fruit. I have no complain at all.

It’s very touristy. Radically changed over past ten years.

It’s very touristy. Radically changed over past ten years. Found two great restaurants - Cuccina and Gecko (next door to each other). Definitely take the funicular from Sun Plaza to the cable car. Short trip but great views and affords good perspective of town. Only 200,000 vnd per person. The cable car excursion is much more expensive. Did it and was very good but I wouldn’t do it again unless the weather was clear (no fog, no cloud).

Picturesque, amazing nature, a lot to do.

Picturesque, amazing nature, a lot to do. Trekking is a must, the local guides are great and the villages around Sa Pa are just amazing- quaint and beautiful. There are some amazing spas, exciting activities, well set up cultural activities and a lovely town centre that you can walk through with lots of restaurant, bar and cafe options

Sapa City is good to walk around

Sapa City is good to walk around I have breakfast daily in the hotel and breakfast is simple but yummy Location is good & easy to get around Sapa. Next time visit will come around Sep/Oct which I guess the weather will be good

We went to Sapa to see the rice terraces, Cat Cat village,...

We went to Sapa to see the rice terraces, Cat Cat village, Fansipan Peak and to hike. We visited and saw all of these places and they did not disappoint. It is easy to get around, especially if you like to walk/hike. We tried different restaurants and they were all good.

Sapa is a highly touristy hill station in North Vietnam. If you like crowded tourist spots filled with budget friendly hotels, massage shops, restaurants and Instagram spots then go to Sapa. If you want to enjoy the hillside, the rice farming, the tribal culture and have a quiet relaxing holiday then stay outside Sapa town. There are many very pretty resorts. Fransipan is a hit and miss depending on the clouds. The infrastructure to go up to Fransipan is good though it can get very crowded during holidays.

Local food tasting recommended. Not Pizza, spagetti..., Trekking experience is also recommended. Weather fluctuation is extremely high when visited, cable car to mountain is depending on it unfortunately!.Nice to visit 2 or 3 days period... KatKat village is also recommended to visit...

Usually I'm not doing reviews. just in case the accommodation is very bad or very good. in this case it's "very good"one. im a solo motorcycle traveler and i had a lot of accommodations in North Vietnam from small villages to big city Luxury Hotels and this is one of cleanest accommodation i had, Also the owners was very very nice with me, and from overs reviews i saw that they are nice with all costumers, like this should be every Hotel and every Homestays. 10/10 Recommend 👍

We loved everything about this hotel. The decor was amazing. It was perched on top of hill overlooking Sa Pa and the mountains. Breakfast was superb and a lovely gentleman who was often behind the eggs and pancakes counter was excellent at making sure we were always looked after. There was a free shuttle to and from town which was also a great addition. One of the best places we stayed in Vietnam.

Perfect location as it is near and central to basically everything. This is family run hotel and the owner Mrs. Mia upgraded my room and I appreciate this so much! Beddings and linen were all clean and comfortable. There is also a bahn mi store in front of the hotel which is the best I've had in Vietnam. Breakfast is a fixed menu, and it was tasty. Overall, location and value for money is unbeatable.

Great view! If you have a room with a view of course. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok, mostly Vietnamese dishes including delicious Pho! Hotel is up a hill and very close to the Fansipan starting point, just 5 min walk away. The Museum is 2 Minutes away. Plenty of good restaurants and food shops nearby.

Swimming pool, room, breakfast, overall the facilities were excellent and the staff from the restaurant. The rest did not feel welcoming, we stayed in much cheaper hotels in Vietnam and the welcoming was heartbreaking. Customer service can improve.
