We offer a purpose-built apartment alongside the main house. The air-conditioned, en-suite bedroom has an extra length king-size bed which can be separated into 2 singles for friends sharing. The self-catering kitchen and lounge area leads onto a private deck with uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains. We encourage you to use the sparkling pool and outdoor braai (barbeque) for casual entertainment. High-speed WIFI is available. The flat-screen TV in the living room is linked to Netflix and YouTube.

Jamestown is a small multicultural village in the heart of the winelands. It is situated mid-way between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, on a sunny North facing slope under the lee of Stellenbosch mountain, with views of the Simonsberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains and undulating Bottelary Hills. The history of Jamestown is interesting in that it was a designated ‘coloured’ village during the apartheid years, but since 1994 when Mandela was released and a new democracy was formed, many diverse cultures have moved into the town, creating one of the most sought after, racially integrated residential areas in South Africa. These local points of interest are within 5 minutes’ drive: 1. Award winning wine estates such as Waterford, De Zalze, Blaauklippen and many more. 2. Two 18 hole international Golf courses - Stellenbosch Golf Club and De Zalze Golf Club 3. The Route 44 market every Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm. 4. Strawberry picking at Mooiberge Farm Oct – Nov 5. For art lovers there is the sculpture garden of Dylan Lewis. 6. The historic town of Stellenbosch with its famed Cape Dutch architecture is close by, bustling with restaurants and sidewalk coffee shops.
