I am a fun-loving hard working woman who enjoys life, the outdoors and nature. Me and my assistant Vathiswa take care of the rooms and make sure you have all you need for an enjoyable stay. You will be spoiled with a scrumptuous breakfast while enjoying the view. I love De Kelders, and will make sure that you know what to do and where to go while staying with me. My house is my safe haven where I want to spoil my guests. Amazing Grace is surrounded by greenery and an abundance of birdlife which makes for peace, quiet and privacy. I am very active and love hiking in Walkerbay nature reserve. I am passionate about the environment and the protection of the ocean. My guests often go on beach clean-ups with me. I will gladly assist in shark-cage bookings, whale watching safari bookings or restaurant reservations. Gansbaai offer a number of activities for the adventurous traveller.

Amazing Grace B&B is located in De Kelders, Gansbaai. We have 3 types of accomodation, one room on ground level and two rooms on the upper level. Dolphin room is the spacious luxury room with an amazing ocean view on the upper level. It has a kingsize bed that can be converted into 2 single beds on request. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and basin and WC. There is a flat screen TV and 2 wing back chairs to relax in. Sleeps 2. Parking for this room is under the shade netting. Whale room, our family unit can accomodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be converted to a kingsize bed on request. Whale room has a seaview from a private patio. The parking for this room is inside the garage adjacent to the room. The two rooms are seperated by a lounge area with a flat screen smart TV. A kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, gas plate, toaster and kettle makes it perfect for semi self-catering. Fynbos room, the latest addition to Amazing Grace, is a deluxe double room with a queen bed and open plan bathroom. Fynbos room is on the upper level and has an ocean view from the room. All the rooms offer complimentary coffee and tea with home made rusks. The tap water in de Kelders is safe for drinking. Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the upstairs patio with the amazing views of Walkerbay in front of you. Guests can enjoy the most magnificent sunsets from the upstairs patio and also watch the Southern Right Whales from July to November. Barbeque facilities for both units available on the upstairs patio. Walker Bay Nature Reserve is within walking distance of Amazing Grace where you can visit the Kligat caves and spend time on the beach. The brave of heart can take a dip in the ocean. During whale season you can watch the Southern Right whales from the patio, or take a short walk to the rocks of De Kelders to watch them.

Amazing Grace B&B is situated in De Kelders, Gansbaai, one of the most beautiful parts of the Western Cape. Walker Bay and Walker Bay nature reserve is within walking distance from Amazing Grace. This is where you will see dolphins, whales, sea lions and if you are lucky, the Cape Otter. During Southern Right Whale season, usually between June and November each year, this is the best place to be. De Kelders is known as the best land-based whale watching spot in South Africa. There are miles of white sandy beaches close to us. We have very nice hiking trails within walking distance from our house. De Kelders is also famous for the Klipgat Caves as well as the Dripkelders. Amazing Grace is situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood where it is safe to walk outside. Coffee on the Rocks, our neighbourhood coffee shop is within walking distance from Amazing Grace, as is Kloeks at Home restaurant. Our security is done by Eagle Security with 24hour availability.
