Casa Mori was born from the Mori family’s rich Italian heritage and a love for hospitality. Our vision was simple: to create an authentic Italian-style agriturismo in the Cape Winelands - a place where people could stay, gather, eat, drink and experience produce grown on the land. The name "Casa Mori" means "House of Mori". We built the estate using traditional Tuscan architecture and natural stone to reflect that heritage, but rooted it in the beauty of South Africa. For us, hospitality is not about big hotels. It’s about warm welcomes, shared meals around the table, and making sure you feel at home. Today we continue the family legacy through three things: accommodation, food, and wine. 1. **Stay**: Our boutique B&B offers 5 rooms where guests can unwind in the countryside and experience genuine, family-style service. 2. **Taste**: We make handcrafted pasta using Nonna’s treasured recipe, passed down through generations. Each batch is made by hand with imported Italian Durum wheat, "00" flour and fresh farm eggs. 3. **Sip**: On nearly 2 hectares of vineyards, we produce Italian-inspired wines including Sangiovese, Cabernet, Shiraz and our signature blend, Roberto. We also press olive oil from Frantoio and Leccino olives grown here. We are a small, owner-run business. When you stay with us, you meet the people behind Casa Mori. We are a boutique B&B run from our family home, and we welcome guests like friends. We offer 5 uniquely appointed guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Selected rooms feature private patios and balconies with views over vineyards, olive groves, the Bottelary Hills, Table Mountain and the Devonvale golf course. Start your day with a continental breakfast served on the patio. We focus on fresh, local ingredients and can cater for special diets with advance notice. Dinner is also available if booked a few days ahead. Life here is about slow moments. Spend the day in our landscaped gardens, relax on sun terraces, or enjoy a game of pétanque on our Mediterranean-style boule court. We have braai facilities for an evening under the stars and a spacious communal lounge with board games for cozy winter nights. Watch the Devonvale sunsets turn gold from the garden.
