Located in the stunning Overberg region, our main house is a Heritage site, built in 1904 with a stunning cottage added on later. We have all the comforts you need away from home, set in a stunning garden on a large stand with a swimming pool where you can cool down in summer and hearths to warm yourself in winter.

We love providing a setting in which travellers will feel at home, with attention to detail and a warm welcome.

Swellendam is the 4th oldest Magisterial district in South Africa with tonnes of history, heritage sites and our own Drostdy Museum. We have craft gin and beer, berry farms, horse-riding and watersports, but we are best known for our amazing bike-trails and the big cycling events held here annually. The Nature Reserves in and around town offer fantastic hiking, whilst the 9-hole Golfcourse is beautiful. You have your pick of amazing restaurants in our town, with everything from fine-dining to pizza and burgers. We are right in the middle of Cape Town and George, which means you have your pick of the best airports and attractions in both the Garden Route and the Winelands. Explore the Overberg - it will enchant you!
