The cottages are situated on a working wine and olive farm, enabling a true retreat into nature. Retreat and Rejuvenate in peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air and enjoy majestic sunsets! Cool down in our beautiful dam and bring some walking shoes to enjoy the farm on foot.
Owners, Venishree and Juergen Mayer, warmly welcome you to their Fraaigelegen Farm (in Dutch it means beautifully located). General Manager, Shane Reynolds runs the farm and will be your main point of contact. In addition to their hospitality business, Venishree and Juergen successfully launched their multiple award winning ADHARA PREMIUM WINES and EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) brand which are both for sale in Germany. Guests can order and enjoy their delicious ADHARA PREMIUM EVOO at a special cellar price on the farm in South Africa. Venishree and Juergen are well travelled and enjoyed an exciting road trip through 7 countries prior to heading out to South Africa. They simply enjoy meeting guests when they are on the farm and are passionate about their farming goals. Venishree is a former South African of Indian descent and Juergen hails from the winelands in Germany. They live by the motto of Tolkien's "Not all who wander are lost".
