Our property has been in the same family since 1972 and has operated as a guesthouse since 2006. Our focus is simple: welcoming guests from near and far to experience the beauty of one of the most incredible bays in the world, right from the water's edge. We enjoy introducing both local and international travelers to the coastal charm of Hermanus and making sure they see the very best the village and the surrounding areas have to offer.

Property info

Hermanus Beachfront Lodge offers luxurious guest house accommodation. Four of our suites have ocean views, and the Mountain View suite has side ocean view and a full mountain view. Our guest house is situated right on Voëlklip Beach, a few minutes away from the Blue Flag Grotto Beach as well as the famous cliff path which leads approximately 12 km along the scenic Whale Coast Route from the New Harbour to Grotto Beach. It is accessible from many points along the route and offers scenic views and fantastic possibilities for close up whale watching in season. As this path is part of the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, you will experience the nearly untouched flora and fauna of Hermanus, Hermanus has retained its traditional village charm.
