Your hosts are the Zaayman family : Pa (Spuy), Ma (Nadia), Big Bro (Zondagh and Tiny Sis (Katryn). Then we have Petunia (fat gorgeous brown chocolate labrador), Fritzz (Jack Russell pavement special), Daisy ( our chocolate labrador baby) and Maximus (mr ginger cat of the farm).

We know you will fall in love with our beautiful farm Hermitage Huisies instantly; as we did and still do every day. The location is perfect: Mountains on show everywhere, Nature Reserves and Woodlands down the road, a trickling Stream, Horses, Sheep, Swimming Pool with best view in the world and a farm Dam on your doorstep. Berry Farms next door, and yet only 2km from the Swellendam town centre. Our four self catering cottages are fully equipped with pocket spring mattresses, bedding, towels and more. All of them feature indoor heating, fans and private outdoor BBQ's. All our cottages are fitted with free WIFI. Our farm is our pride and joy and we would love for you to share in our little piece of heaven and we promise to do all we can to make your stay most memorable. We welcome single travelers, couples, business travelers and families. We have a KolKol wood-fired hot tub and a woodfired HOTPOT for private cottage hire. R450 one night, R750 two nights, R1050 three nights etc. Pre-booking and payment required. Bathsalts, Blitz, Water and Wood included. First booked first served basis! Once confirmed, we place the tub at your cottage for your enjoyment only.

Neighborhood info

We never planned to settle in Swellendam. We looked for a farm in the Western Cape and the moment we saw Hermitage Huisies we knew this was our paradise. And it truly is. The view is incredible. Hermitage Valley offers an abundance of outdoor activities whilst also presenting you with tranquility and peaceful atmosphere like non other.
