My guests came to know Hibiscus B&B as a very quiet retreat where they get a good nights rest away from the hustle of the nearby city vibe beachfront especially during peak holiday seasons. Very conveniently situated enroute to the Cape Town International Airport. The room is packed with all the necessary toiletries, towels and bath sheets all in a neat and clean environment. The best part is nobody walks away without a wholesome breakfast at no extra cost.

After being a medical scientist for many, many years I made a major career change early in 2024. Hibiscus Guest Room was born out of that decision. The Guest Room soon evolved into a bed-and-breakfast, hence the name change to Hibiscus B&B. The name Hibiscus was chosen for the plant's flower, particularly the red flower variety, being a symbol of hospitality in certain cultures. Striking pink flowers of a large Hibiscus decorate the garden in summer, while the lush dark green leaves provides cool shade under the fierce summer sun. Rustling sound of dry leaves and flowers on the pavement adds to the tranquil atmosphere of the property. Yes, I love the plants, I love the outdoors and I just love meeting people from places all over the world...

This neighbourhood is a quiet island midst all the noise. You won't find restaurants, party places, beaches, malls, wine farms, museums, airports or any other places of noisy gatherings here. For that you need to reach out to the surrounding area with either a vehicle or on foot.
