Steve and Charmaine love the peace and quiet of our location but enjoy being close to all the amenities and attractions of the Garden Route.

Property info

Set in the peaceful village of Hoekwil only 10km from Wilderness, Hildesheim Guest House offers Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation. Enjoy panoramic views of the Garden Route's Outeniqua Mountains.

Neighborhood info

With magnificent sea, lake and mountain views, Hoekwil is as close to paradise as you will get. This little village is full of colourful local people, has fantastic accommodation and offers wonderful things to explore while here. It mainly consists of a church, a post office, two shops and a school- but don't be fooled into thinking that this is all there is to Hoekwil. The Hoopla route is a 30km journey, driving from Wilderness towards Knysna, up the Serpentine Pass and through the little village of Hoekwil, towards the Outeniqua mountains. The “Big Tree”, a fossil estimated to be 850 years old is a great attraction In Hoekwil, especially for hikers. A clearly marked path leads in the forest, crossing a stream several times. Many of the trees are labelled so one can identify them.
