House Vos” is a beautifully designed home located in a quiet, safe, and upmarket area of Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa. Overlooking the fairways of the renowned Hermanus Golf Club, the house offers breathtaking distant views of both the ocean and the majestic mountains behind. All rooms and living areas are on one level, making the space feel open, relaxed, and accessible. House Vos is also wheelchair friendly, with accessible showers in the bathrooms. The main bedroom has an an-suite bathroom and the other two rooms (queen-bed and twin) shares a bathroom with toilet and another separate toilet with basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, oven, air fryer, coffee machine and separate scullery with fridge/freezer and dishwashing machine. A beautiful BBQ-room (for the colder/windier days) has a built in braai and the glass stacking doors can be opened up in warm weather leading to an outside garden. It offers a fully equipped laundry for those longer stays with washing machine and tumble drier. The open plan dining room/ lounge/ TV room has two fire places which ensures the house stays warm and cozy in the winter. The house is just a four-minute drive from the town center with its shops, galleries, and restaurants, and equally close to the pristine beaches and cliff path famous for whale watching. Hermanus hosts a range of exciting events throughout the year, from art and food festivals to the world-renowned whale season, drawing visitors from around the globe. The Kalfie-fees; Fynarts Festival and Whale Festival are some of the highlights. It is also a central base for exploring wine-farms in the area.
