Relax and/ or work with the whole family at this peaceful seaside cottage with its double volume ceiling and post-card perfect sunsets. It offers a spacious indoor braai (barbecue) area and is fully equipped for extended stays with a dishwasher and outside laundry. Perfectly situated a mere 350m from some of the best whale watching beaches in the world or if you are feeling adventurous the cottage is only 8km from several shark cage diving facilities. Load-shedding friendly with a gas hob.
The entire cottage is at your disposal but we are available via telephone, email or the AirBnB interface.
Generally, it's quiet and peaceful. There are not many homes being used full time, so traffic is usually minimal. One can hear the sea at night. Garbage & garden refuge collection is on a Tuesday. Wildlife in the neighborhood consists of Cape Spurfowl, Guinea fowl, plovers, Cape tortoise, Cape grey mongoose and a variety of birds. There is a large play park for younger children within a short walking distance. Very safe and easy to walk/cycle to popular look-out points and coffee shop. There are unfortunately no buses or roaming taxis that one could use. Own transport or a dedicated tourist bus is recommended.
