Idylwilde is perfectly situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, overlooking the beautiful lagoon and the vast Indian Ocean. Should you fancy some R&R, we invite you to enjoy breath taking views from your balcony; treat yourself to full satellite television or pre-recorded movies, or rustly up a meal and indulge in a sundowner as you watch spectacular sunsets. Within a short walk, you'll find yourself on the famed Wilderness beach, which is perfect for sunbathing, long walks and exploring rock pools. The nearby village offers a variety of excellent restaurants, some with nightly entertainment, and a range of cuisine to suit every palate and pocket.
Mark and Glenda are your hosts, and we will make your stay as warm and as welcoming as can be. We hope that you will love Wilderness as much as we do.
One of the 'jewels' of the famous Garden Route, Wilderness is a mixture of rivers and lakes and peace and tranquility. Renowned for it's vast stretches of sandy beaches, Wilderness is also a trendy holiday resort with quaint restaurants and a variety of hiking trails, bird/dolphin watching points and enough adventure activities to attract outdoor lovers and adrenaline junkies.
