Jonkershuis is a luxurious farmstay on a serene working avocado farm, nestled in the Langeberg mountain range, between Heidelberg and Riversdale, at the Gateway of the Garden Route. It is ideal for family getaways or a romantic experience. The guesthouse is luxurious and stylish. It is private and cosy with fast working WIFI and a back up battery electricity system for remote work or longer stays. It is the perfect spot to relax but also offers a wealth of outdoor activities for everyone including mountain biking, scenic walks, and birdwatching. Guests can also enjoy our lovely pool, relax on the patio and deck with stunning sunset views, and help themselves to fresh herbs and produce from our veggie garden.
I adore life, nature and traveling and love making pretty as I go along. As a host I make it my mission to add small details to make your stay as memorable as possible. I am creative, artistic and very fond of being outdoors: One of the very reasons why we started farming in such a pretty spot nestled in the Langeberg mountains. I value people and culture.
Jonkershuis is just a quick, easy drive from Swellendam, the pristine beaches of Witsand, Stilbaai and Jongensfontein and the lush indigenous forests of Grootvadersbosch, opening up endless possibilities for memorable day trips.
