Bring the whole family for a relaxing stay in our newly renovated farm house. Situated 3.5km outside of Oudtshoorn, you can experience the peace and tranquillity of a Karoo farm stay, with the added convenience of close proximity to town. The house is spacious, and lends itself to families or groups of friends travelling together. A large garden provides ample space for children and / or dogs to run, while the indoor braai and large stoep provide entertainment for adults. Karoo Leeu is situated on the working ostrich farm, Welgeluk. Welgeluk is one of the oldest ostrich farms in Oudtshoorn and have produced some of the best quality ostrich feathers in the world. Recently our feathers were exported to Paris to be used in shows for the Moulin Rouge!
