There is a fully-equipped, farm-style kitchen and a living area equipped with a TV with selected satellite channels. Each bedroom is en suite and air-conditioned. There are 2 large verandas, and a BBQ that is fully stocked with firewood and fire-lighters. Each unit at Karoo View has access to the indigenous gardens with nature paths. Guests can preorder a braai (BBQ) basket and pick herbs and vegetables from the property's organic tunnel. Star gazing on clear nights, birding, cycling and hiking are popular activities in the surroundings, and the village of Prince Albert is 1148 feet away from Karoo View.

Howard and Marion Mollison are the owners of the Karoo View Cottages Group. We found our dream place here in the Great Karoo in the village of Prince Albert in 2017. The group has grown to include three guesthouses: Karoo View Cottages, Karoo Masterclass House and Cottage, M's Karoo House and Cottage. We do believe in going the extra mile for our guests and would ask that you trust us to look after your needs when you need to book accomodation in Prince Albert.

Karoo View Cottages is the Flag Ship of the Karoo View Group. The Group consists of 2 guesthouses - Karoo View Cottages and Karoo Masterclass. All of our guest houses are listed on Bookingcom. Karoo View Cottages has 4 custom built cottages and a smaller Stoep Suite . Each cottage is a massive 72m2 with aircon and fans for summer, heaters and open log fireplaces for winter. Beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. Parking at your front door, private braai areas, communal pool in a truly great Karoo setting. Cottage 1 and 4 have private heated plunge pools. Karoo Masterclass House is our 5 star 3 bedroomed dream home. Private pool and braai area, private shaded parking. Karoo Masterclass Cottage is our 5 star private cottage with heated pool, its own braai area and entrance, truly a great place for the discerning couple.

A True Karoo Destination which we would love to share with our guest, Karoo View Cottages is uniquely positioned in that we are are within walking distance into the village, yet due to our elevation you feel as if you are far out in the Karoo, which surrounds you. Restaurants that we recommend to our guests include Karoo Kombuis, The Real Food Company, The Rude Chef, Swartberg Hotel’s Victoria Room, Lah-di-dah Farm Stall and the Bush Pub. Activities that we can recommend are Astro Tours, The Story Weaver, Striking Metal, Avoova, Renu-Karoo Indigenous Nursery, The Showroom Theatre. Shops in the town include: The Olde Shoppe, Handmade Karoo Handgemaak, Kredouw Fijnhuis and Kredouw Olive Estate, Made in Prince Albert, Prince of Africa Crafts, Louis Botha Photography, The Real Food Company Deli. Major attractions in our are area are the Swartberg pass, Cango Caves, Rust en Vrede Waterfall, Ostrich riding in Oudtshoorn, De Rust, Meiringspoort, the Great waterfall and Prince Albert Valley.
