The studio-flat is a self-catering unit and is open plan. It is fully furnished and has a proper kitchen. There is a portable braai outside in your own private court-yard for care free summer meals. The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and basin. In the kitchen there is a microwave/convection oven, 2-plate electric hob and a fridge. All necessary cutlery and kitchen equipment are provided. There is a large flatscreen TV with a free DSTV connection, the flat also has access to free wifi internet. The lounge area consists out of a three seater couch, small dining table for 2 and a work space with access to wifi, datapoint and sockets. There is also an air-conditioner inside for the very hot days in the summer times. There are twin beds with all bed linen, duvets and towels provided for your stay. You have a alarm which you can set for the flat, with sliding-security doors, which is where you walk into the court-yard too. Your car can be parked behind a security gate. There is a safe that a laptop can fit into. The two-bedroom flat is furnished the same as the studio flat. You have an inbuilt braai on the patio. Each room has its own bathroom with a bigger living area.
Laanhof is situated in The Avenue, which is in the heart of the Stellenbosch tourism area. The Avenue is only a 500 meters walk from the Stellenbosch gym which is of very high quality and a first class athletics centre, perfect for athletes who want to come and train in Stellenbosch. For tourists, the centre of Stellenbosch with its high quality restaurants is only 800 meters walk away and Stellenbosch itself offers so much more. You will find some of the best wine farms just outside Stellenbosch, all available for wine tasting and with many offering excellent restaurants on the wine farm itself. The campus of the University of Stellenbosch is a short walk away. For the more adventures there is the Coetzenburg mountain, only one kilometre away, where one can jog, walk or ride mountain bike. Try walking to the top of the mountain and see how amazing Stellenbosch looks from a higher view. A little further is the beautiful Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, where one can also go and jog, walk one of the many scenic routes or take a mountain bike and explore more amazing trails. It is only a 15 minute drive away from Laanhof. For the golf players there are three courses around town.
