Welcome to Laurel Cottage Self-catering Suites in Franschoek Laurel Cottage is conveniently located in the heart of the wonderful village of Franschhoek. Our cottage is the ideal base for a memorable visit to this beautiful valley in the famous Cape Winelands. Our three self-catering suites all share the private garden, plunge pool and outdoor barbeque area. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind and provides an excellent base for visiting the local area which has so much to offer. Each of our three unique suites has a fully equipped kitchen, a relaxing lounge area, flat screen TV with DStv (the Hotel Package) and Wi-Fi, of course. We have installed inverters in each suite so you will never be without electricity. The suites also have excellent security and offer off-street parking.

Neighborhood info

Once you are done relaxing, you can get out and about with the many activities in the peaceful and scenic Franschhoek village. The list is endless. Simply take a 10 minute stroll into the vibrant village to sample some of the many culinary delights, or visit some of the many renowned shops and art galleries, where you can shop and browse to your heart’s content. Franschhoek is known for its wines, and there are many options for wine tours and tastings, from e-bike tours to the famous wine tram, among others. Visit the famous Babylonstoren garden, or take a tour of the motor museum (be sure to book in advance) for classic and vintage vehicles. There are also many other attractions, such as the perfume museum, art galleries galore, and fine dining restaurants. Mountain biking and hiking are also popular, with some incredible routes just a short drive from the cottage.
