Le Arc 'd Orleans is a working Blueberry farm, in the heart of the Winelands region. The farm is 10km from both Paarl and Franschhoek and next door neighbor of the popular 'La Paris' wedding venue. Guests are welcome to walk around and enjoy the garden, mountains and Blueberry fields. Owner and her family live on site and we use the same entrance. The guest apartment has a private lounge down stairs and all the rooms, bathrooms and living space upstairs and private. The apartment is in the attic of the farm house. Air conditioners upstairs to keep you comfortable. Basic cutlery, microwave, kettle and bar fridge with daily cleaning service of your dishes. Bring your wine and snacks to enjoy in your private lounge down stairs.
We are a family of 5 with 3 boys and grateful to live on a farm. My husband is the Blueberry grower and I'm a Physiotherapist. Let me know if you have any questions or special requests.
Le Arc Manor House is situated on a working Blueberry Farm (Le Arc Berries). Blueberry season runs from August to December. Although its walking distance from the Nelson Mandela statue, I will recommend to use your car. La Paris wedding venue and restaurant with a lovely deli to buy something sweet or fresh bread, is also less than 1 km from us. Pearl Valley golf estate is 3.5 km away from our farm. The owners and guests u The Owners of the farm stay on site, on the other side of the big old farm house. They use the same entrance to the house but the apartment is separate and private. The farm manager and family also stays on the farm in a different house.
