We’re lucky to work remotely, allowing us to spend extended periods in Strand, enjoying the coastal beauty while balancing work with leisure. We love starting the day with beach walks or morning runs—Janet often explores the trails in the nearby Helderberg Nature Reserve, while Klaus is on the lookout for the best breakfast spots with a view. Our love for the area and the outdoors means we're excited to share our local tips, whether it’s about the best vineyards, hidden trails, or scenic dining spots to make your stay unforgettable.

Guests love the Strand neighbourhood for its beautiful beach and convenient access to a variety of attractions. Known for its relaxed seaside charm, Strand offers a family-friendly beach with a promenade that's perfect for walks, picnics, and sunsets over False Bay. Water enthusiasts enjoy swimming, surfing, and paddle boarding, while the shallow areas are ideal for children. The area also boasts excellent dining, from fresh seafood at Ocean Basket to cozy cafés and bakeries along Beach Road.
