Tucked away at the end of a private road and right on the lagoon's edge, this 4-star lodge is a private paradise in the charming village of Wilderness. Moontide Riverside Lodge has a relaxed, calm and stimulating environment throughout the property, creating a comforting ambiance for guests. Moontide Riverside Lodge offers superbly furnished luxury rooms with original art, have amazing lagoon views. Rooms enjoy complete privacy with private entrances that also lead into a garden with a pool and 400 year-old milkwood trees. Enjoy freshly served breakfast every morning on the terrace while looking over the lagoon. Guests can then enjoy canoeing or fishing in the lagoon or explore the stunning surroundings while hiking or horse riding. Alternatively, Moontide is located at the heart of the Garden Route, allowing for great further explorations and just 2 minutes from Wilderness Beach.

Maureen Mansfield, restored the original the homestead, built in the 1920s, to its former glory and in 1994 threw open her doors to her first paying guests with just four rooms.
