Set beside a forest and intersected by a stream, Oakhurst Farm Cottages are located in Hoekwil, Wilderness along the Garden Route. This charming farm setting features a farm dam and forest. Each self-catering cottage is decorated in a country-style and has a well-equipped kitchen and living area furnished in wooden floors. The private bathroom has a shower and basin. Fresh farm eggs and milk can be provided on request, and barbecue facilities are available. A number of restaurants can be found in the village of Wilderness, within 1.9 mi. There are walking and cycling trails within the indigenous forest areas on the farm, and guests can visit the dairy farm during milking times by prior arrangement. Other outdoor activities such as fishing at the dam can be arranged by the staff. A number of restaurants can be found 15 minutes' drive away in the village of Wilderness. Wilderness beach is a 20-minute drive away and the George Airport is 20 mi from the farm.

Claire and Jake have lived on Oakhurst Farm for many many years, and chose to raise their three daughters on this very special farm. All of the Crowther clan love the outdoors and being on the farm, often seen within the dairy, cottage reception, or on their early morning walks with their 7 dogs. Claire and Jake love the peace and quiet that Oakhurst has to offer and being able to raise their three beautiful daughters on Oakhurst, has been a huge blessing to them!

Hoekwil the area in which Oakhurst is situated is a peaceful and quiet area, mostly a farming area. Besides the numerous walking trails in the area, there is also plenty of birdlife and mountain biking on the farm and area. We are also lucky enough to have the beach only 15 minutes minutes away.
