Our home in Vermont, Hermanus, is a double storey building, subdivided so that the entire upper floor is one complete private 3 bedroom unit, separate from the lower level, where the owners live. On entering, through a private entrance, you climb a flight of stairs to the upper level. (not wheelchair friendly). On entering through sliding doors, one enters the scullery and a well kitted out kitchen, leading off to 3 spacious bedrooms (2 en suite) with a 3rd separate bathroom. Passing through the passage you find a large lounge/ dining room area boasting magnificent views of the sea. Leading off the dining area, is a large open patio with panoramic views of the sea and mountain. The gas braai is well positioned to shield one from the South Easter winds, the lounge boasts a large leather lounge suite with its own combustion fireplace. The kitchen is fitted with a modern DNA Airfryer, induction plates, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, and all the crockery and cutlery for six guests. The unit is fitted with Persian carpets throughout and is warm, even in the winter months. Fans are available for summer months and all bedrooms have blockout curtains to keep out the morning sun. There is sufficient secure parking for 2 vehicles behind locked gates. The home has security cameras and an alarm system linked to armed response. The property is in close proximity to the coastal walking path that stretches for miles in both directions. Vermont is a quiet well established neighbourhood, situated a distance away from the hustle bustle of Hermanus central. There is a convenience store situated a 5 minute drive from the home, and a 15 minute drive from Whale Coast Mall. Central Hermanus is a 20 minute drive along the R43. Because the area is residential, loud parties and excessive noise is discouraged. The newly renovated private pool has sun loungers and is open to guests in summer months. Pets are welcome, provided they are house trained.

Vermont is a quiet, safe suburb of Hermanus within walking distance to the coastal path which stretches for miles either way. Because it is a residential area, loud noise and parties a discouraged. The home is situated about 100 metres from the sea, and at night, one can hear the waves crashing onto the rocks.
