Ons Kraal is an upmarket holiday home which is situated in the peaceful town of Franskraal, 50 km from Hermanus and 150km from Cape Town International Airport. Come and relax in our beautiful home, which is a mere 300 meters walk from the unspoiled Franskraal swimming beach. This is an ideal swimming beach for young and old as the beach stretches for several kilometers. Franskraal is only 5 km from Gansbaai which is known as "The Big 2 town". The town is famous for its whale sightings as well as its great white shark diving. Gansbaai is also a strong commercial center, which has all your favorite shops and also some medical facilities. The house was built in the year 2000. The three bedrooms are very well furnished and the beds are equipped with electric blankets. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while bedroom 2 and 3 share a bathroom equipped with shower, bath, toilet and washbasin. One large sleeper couch is suitable for 1-2 adults while the second sleeper couch is only suitable for children. The house is equipped with a double door fridge freezer, oven/hob stove, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Comment on your stay in our Guest Book!

I am joint-owner of Ons Kraal. My partner is my wife. We have been married for almost 20 years and have 2 children. I enjoy all sport and play golf once a month. We live in Johannesburg. We have family holidays at Ons Kraal twice a year.

Franskraal is part of the Gansbaai Municipality. Franskraal is a wonderful quite town with no street lights where you can really appreciate the bright stars at night and where you can truly switch off and relax, away from the busy city life! The beach is truly amazing - completely unspoiled. The lagoon at Uilenkraal provides wonderful entertainment for the children while the waves are also great fun! You can also take long walks along Sea Drive and appreciate the beautiful ocean. There's plenty of hiking trails in the area, cheese farms and wine farms. The Birkenhead Lighthouse is well worth visiting as well as the little Museam on Sea Drive in Franskraal. Day trips to Arniston and Cape Agulhas is also recommended. It's truly an amazing part of South Africa!
