Closer to the beach you cannot get! Undoubtedly the best position in Pearly Beach! Magnificent sea views, pristine beaches, beautiful dune fynbos and wildlife surround you. Wake up to the sound of the sea and watch spectacular sunsets from the patio. Walk amongst wildflowers in spring bloom along the shoreline. Swim or snorkel in the calm waters of the beach directly in front of the house. Watch the whales at play. Go fishing. After a day at the beach, braai on the patio or make your own pizzas in the pizza oven, soak in a long hot bath, sink into beautiful bedlinen and listen to the sound of the sea. And the stars! Unparalleled starry skies hold your gaze in the crisp clean air. Everything is set to create the perfect environment for a relaxing holiday. Simple, beach house style, nothing pretentious. (But with fast fibre internet and large smart tv for your entertainment!) We wish you a happy holiday here!
I love travelling to Europe, specially France, Italy and Greece. A creative director, I enjoy spending time redesigning interior and exterior spaces, specially gardens, as well as developing and designing theatrical concepts. I teach Drama. My animals are very important to me: a thoroughbred horse, my Golden Retrievers Rupert and Rose and my rescue dog Riley add a special quality to my life.
I love welcoming visitors and enjoy making them feel happy and ‘at home’ to be here, assisting wherever possible. I want this house to be a place where people can come for an affordable beach holiday or a peaceful retreat. I want it to be a blessing for all who spend time here. I enjoy adding special, unique touches for each guest who visits, according to their specific needs.
Wendy, who manages our holiday house, is just up the road. She is always available to assist in any way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
On the shoreline of the peaceful little seaside village of Pearly Beach, renowned for its magnificent, pristine beaches, is our unpretentious beach house. I love our place because of its position with uninterrupted views of the sand dune, sea and sky.
Once you arrive for your holiday, you can kick off your shoes and relax! Enjoy a short walk along the quiet road to the small café for an ice cream. Three eateries, an angling clubhouse and the Pearly Beach Shoppe cater for an evening out or daily basics. Otherwise head over the dune to the beach for a swim, surf or snorkel or turn left for a nature walk along the rocky shoreline. And the beach horse rides are unforgettable!
