South AfricaUpgraded, clean modern bathrooms; great sheets and linen; cosy duvets and everything we needed in the kitchen. I believe the DSTV was the full package, but we never got a chance to watch anything!
As close as the house was to other houses, it was surprisingly quiet and private. Single carport has a canopy to protect the car from the sun & rain. Also cleverly designed so that the back outside braai area is protected from the wind.

United StatesThe property is in an utterly amazing location. The rooms were big and clean. We especially liked the bonus kitchenette on the lower level as some of our members were older and not able to negotiate the stairs.

South AfricaThe location, however was amazing! I love Perly Beach Resort and being at Perly Waves was just amazing. The place is well surrounded and safe for children. We had an amazing time. The house was very clean as well as the braai area. I feel the pictures does not do justice on booking! The house is so comfortable with comfy beds and couches. The braai era is nice and secured allowing your partner to braai and have his own space. The house is close to the playgrounds so you can see them playing!!!

- Spacious kitchen and living area with comfortable couch for relaxing.
- Extremely comfortable bed and pillows
- Safe and secure estate (resort)
- Excellent communication with owners and appreciated all the recommendations shared for the area.
- Restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommend the Whalehouse Brewery for excellent food with quality ingredients (amazing vegan burger!). Other choices are good but more deep fried than fresh ingredient food.

Great location. Amazing beach, ocean and rockpools.
Great location. Amazing beach, ocean and rockpools. The house is basic but clean and well equipped. A minor problem was resolved very fast by the hosts . Nice brewery in a walking distance. Cute , well stocked supermarket - also very close.

The accommodation was just perfect.
The accommodation was just perfect. Clean and tidy and not cluttered. It included everything one would need when on holiday. There is also a convenience shop in the resort. Gansbaai is just about twenty minutes drive away where there is Spar, chemist etc.

The house was large and comfortable, very spacious.
The house was large and comfortable, very spacious. We felt at ease and the views were amazing from almost every angle in the house. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The bathrooms were very good with a bath and a shower. The sound of the ocean in the background of your whole day just made me feel at peace. The sunsets were spectacular to view. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend break!

We enjoyed our stay at The Ark BnB and can certainly recommend this one. The hosts Marian and Johan were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to meet our every need. We were royally treated like good friends. The breakfasts were substantial and absolutely delicious. The room was luxuriously fitted and extremely comfortable and stylish. They also gave suggestions as to what to do and where to visit that was helpful.
Pearly Beach itself is a pretty seaside town with lots to see and do. The long beach was clean with silky soft sand
