Riverview House is a spacious, recently renovated modern home set on a lifestyle property just outside Sedgefield (10km) - with an emphasis on comfort and functionality. We offer free WIFI. In a rural setting facing the sunny north with magnificent views over the fynbos Karatara River valley and the majestic Outenique mountain range. We have full battery and solar backup so NO loadshedding. Our large House is perfect for families of 4 or two couples. For kids we offer a cycle track, trampoline and fenced ball game area for soccer, basketball or mini-tennis all while you relax on the deck taking in the amazing daily bird visits - Loeries, Kingfishers, Hoopoes, Drongos, Woodpeckers, Auriols, African Pidgeons, Forest Buzzards, Owls at night and if you are lucky our Fish Eagles. There is fantastic mountain biking from our gate into the forest behind the farm as well as at the end of our road into the Outeniqua mountains. MTB Routes for all cycling levels at your own risk. We have a basic and our more challenging Yellowwood forest walk on the property at your own risk.
Jon, Dean and Luke welcome you. We are Superhosts with both ABnB and Booking We are MTB fanatics and love the cycling from our front gate into the forest - you are welcome to join us. Self check-in is usually preferred but if we are home we can happily meet you to run through the House. We have provided our names and contact details in the House itself. We have abundance of bird life at Riverview, set in natural forested fynbos. Close to wonderful MTB routes of all levels as well as hiking (you may even run into our last remaining female Knysna elephant). Saturday is when we all head to the World Famour Wild oats Sedgefield market - voted the best in South Africa year after year...
