A modern, self-contained, one bedroom garden cottage, in Sandbaai, Hermanus, is suitable for a single person or a couple, with wrap around balau deck, is situated in a large private garden with well-established trees. Enjoy a swim in the pool or just relax and enjoy watching the koi swim around lazily. Pop down to the Wine shop @ Hemel & Aarde Wine village and choose from a variety of MCC’s, SA gin or our very own local wines. Return to the garden where you can enjoy one of your spoils, whether it’s a cocktail at the pool or a glass of your favourite wine or bubbly on the deck, as you soak up the last of the day’s sun rays whilst getting ready for a leisurely braai/barbeque.

Saffron Cottage is approximately 4.5km from central Hermanus, a seaside town, which offers a fine array of top restaurants and many tourist attractions. Sandbaai beach is less than 600 steps away. Visit our local restaurant, Bamboo Beach, to experience their mouth-watering dishes, or take a picturesque walk along the coastal path to Onrus beach and enjoy a meal or sundowner at Milk Restaurant. For all your shopping requirements, the Whale Coast Mall is 1.9km from the cottage.
