Your Hosts are Adriaan & Bettie Pienaar Adriaan & Bettie met at high school in Robertson. After a relationship of six years they got married in 1980. Out of the wedding 3 children were born and today they have 6 grandchildren. After more than 50 years together the bond between the two is still very strong. After obtaining his B Comm degree from Stellenbosch University Adriaan started working as an accountant and later financial manager for corporate companies (mainly in the manufacturing industry). After a few years he switched to IT working for a large liquor retailer. He later started his own company specialising in computerised accounting systems whilst at the same time offering financial consulting services. Bettie qualified as a school teacher at Denneoord College in Stellenbosch. After qualifying as teacher she started teaching where she was promoted from junior teacher to head of department to deputy principal and eventually to principal. After 38 years at the same school she retired in 2017. Adriaan was involved in the management of the property for the past 23 years and in April 2024 he and Bettie decided to manage the guesthouse business themselves. They both have a passion for people and strive to give their guests the best possible experience. It is their believe that nothing is impossible and they would really do their best to accommodate any need guests might have.
