Enjoy numerous hikes through the magic forest, fynbos, and magnificent flora – do find the rocky cliff path leading to the secret “Cleopatra’s Pool”. This paradise for birders and nature lovers invites you to immerse yourself into the tranquillity of the outdoors - walk among wildebeest, zebra, ostriches, bushbuck, springbuck, while possible caching a glimpse of the illusive caracal. Fall asleep overlooking the luxurious freestanding bath overhanging the forest and gorge, to the sound of crashing waves!

Silver Mist Cottage is a self-catering, romantic, single bedroom cottage situated within a private nature reserve. You rent the cottage as a unit and with that gain access to the entire reserve – braai areas in the bay, a braai/pic-nick spot in the forest, fynbos, forest and game viewing walks, plus incredible bird life and the most inspiring views imaginable! The cottage is fitted with all amenities, including: air-conditioning to cool you down, or to create a cosy nest in winter (up to 30 degrees Celius), smart TV, water dispensing fridge/freezer, gas hob, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave oven, kettle, toaster etc. We also provide free Wifi AND none of these benefits fall way during LOADSHEDDING, because we have installed an inverter for your comfort! The large free-standing bath has just been added – built into a bay-window at the foot of the queen size bed, it overhangs a magnificent gorge, providing you with spectacular views in total privacy as you sip on complementary sparkling wine! The en-suite bathroom has a shower big enough for both of you AND we have a hidden outside shower for two – completely private, yet providing breathtaking views. Enjoy sundowners on the deck!
