Simunye cottage is a self catering cottage situated on a 40 hectare olive farm, Fields of Gold, in the Cape Winelands. The farm is only 10 minutes from either Paarl or Franschhoek, and 25 minutes from Stellenbosch. Pearl Valley/Val de Vie Golf and Polo Estate is a mere 1 km from the farms entrance. Many famous wine farms and the finest restaurants are a short drive away. We are also perfectly situated to accommodate the many wedding venues in the area. The cottage has one spacious bedroom with a queen bed, a beautiful en-suite bathroom with a bath and double shower. An open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area opens onto a patio which overlooks a magnificent rock pool, where you can enjoy a glass of local wine and admire the sunset.
There are so many wonderful things to do in the area including: Franschhoek Wine Tram A visit to Babylonstoren botanical gardens Artisanal tastings, shops & restaurants at Spice Route Wine and cheese pairing at Fairview Freedom Weekend Market Camelot Spa at Val de Vie Estate Boschenmeer & Pearl Valley Golf Estates Ceramic painting at Clay Cafe in Paarl La Paris Farm & Bistro just 2 minute drive away A plethora of many famous wine farms in the area
