I consider myself to be a people person, with a creative flair, a passion for painting, a taste for good food and wine, which explains why the uniqueness of Station House delights my character, while offering me the opportunity to enjoy life and let my soul rest within the surrounds of nature.

Station House @ Simondium was the home of the master of the Simondium Station once upon a time . It's situated on the R45 road between Paarl and Franschhoek. This area is spoilt with many historical farms, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Drakenstein and Simonsberg mountains. Proudly, we offer a feeling of home, where you can bask in the detailed character of this grand old lady, a place to unwind, relax, or just simply sit in the splash pool, while absorbing the views. Surrounding us are places like the magical Babylonstoren (3km), offering you awe inspiring garden/wine experiences, the historical Boschendal (5,5km), the famous Rupert and Rothchild (350m) and well known Vrede and Lust (280m). Station House is truly in the heart of good food and wine country, as well as a multitude of wedding venues. Our main house consist out of 4 rooms, that can be rented out separately, communal kitchen, lounge and dining area. 3 rooms outside the main house with separate entrances.

Simondium is a historic farming area which, over time, has exploded into a tourist mecca for those wanting to experience the exceptional standards and varieties of our many wine and fruit farms as well as our historical towns, Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, all within a radius of 20 km. It remains a farming community which has kept abreast with the moving of time while maintaining a magical slowness.
