The Waterfront Guesthouse is situated along the waters of the picturesque Port Owen Marina and is nestled between the Berg River and Atlantic Ocean, near Velddrif, on the stunning Cape West Coast. The Waterfront Guesthouse is the only self-catering accommodation in the area graded 5-stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, and promises exceptional luxury, spacious comfort, complete privacy and security — creating the perfect setting for your dream holiday. Apart from spectacular views and breathtaking sunsets, this exceptional accommodation offers unparalleled conveniences and modern amenities, ensuring every detail of your stay is thoughtfully catered for. We sincerely care about our planet and our guests, and have therefore installed full solar power and state-of-the-art UPS system. The guesthouse is also fully fenced, and protected by an alarm system with armed security response. By prior arrangement, your boat can be accommodated at a private jetty in the marina. The Waterfront Guesthouse is located within a world-renowned marine wetland, offering a stunning natural experience. Bird lovers will enjoy watching the over 210 species for an exceptional birdwatching experience. Fishing enthusiasts can indulge in deep-sea, shore-line, and river fishing opportunities. Those venturing out to sea may encounter dolphins and whales. The guesthouse is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, outdoor chess and putt-putt. Wild beaches are easily accessible and other attractions such as a golf course, river cruises, a brewery, and a gin distillery are minutes away. A fossil park, a fishing museum, quad biking, 4x4 tracks, the Village Market, and "Bokkomlaan" are also all nearby. The West Coast National Park offers an opportunity to view game and wildflowers. Wildflowers are particularly magnificent during August, September and October. Additional activities include hiking, cycling, mountain biking, picnics, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Langebaan Lagoon, and visiting Paternoster and Mykonos.
