Blending hints of Zanzibar, farmhouse charm and touches of luxury, this historic cottage offers comfort, elegance and tranquility in the heart of Franschhoek.
Jo has been in Franschhoek since 2002 and was raised a few kilometres away over the mountains. The years in between were spent in the UK, Australia, France, Croatia and New York fuelling his desires for adventure, finishing off with a solo sailing trip down the Irrawaddy River, in Burma, and on through the Andaman Sea. Jo moved down to Franschhoek, settling in arguably the most scenically beautiful wine valley in the world. This is one of eight properties under the ‘Explorers Club’ umbrella. As much or as little as you would like. We are here to make your stay memorable.
It is 100 metres from two of the most sought-after dining experiences in the Cape: The Tasting Room at Le Quartier Francais and Foliage Restaurant. We also have Tuk-Tuk Microbrewery at the top of the road, serving mexican tacos and craft beer - the 'hottest' new spot to hang out in Franschhoek. Franschhoek really is made for independent travellers as we don't really appeal to mass tourism. We prefer the curious, independent and adventurous travellers. We have some transfer companies we can recommend.
