Stylish and modern, the apartment is an extension of one of the oldest buildings in Stellenbosch and offers ideal self-catering accommodation to the discerning traveler and corporate guest who require luxury and comfort in a private setting, while close to all amenities and attractions. Recently built as an addition to the declared national monument, you enter from street level through what was used as a thoroughfare between properties in earlier times. Although this area is steeped in history, Tuishuisie offers you modern amenities and decor in an airy an uncluttered space.

My husband Gerrit and I are the owners and managers of Tuishuisie. Both self-employed, we run Tuishuisie in addition to our professions as a lawyer and editor. As we love to travel ourselves, we appreciate the opportunity to provide accommodation of value to our guests, and do our utmost to ensure that they have a lovely stay! Nelius Kruger is our co-host and takes care of our property and our guests when we are out of town. He is a local restaurateur and a fantastic host.

Tuishuisie is located in the best part of Stellenbosch. Tucked in between some of the oldest historical buildings in town, it gives you access to the restaurant and shopping area of town. It is ideal for a relaxing time as restaurants, shops, and wine boutiques are all on your doorstep. To dine out would only require a leisurely stroll down the street, with a myriad of cuisines to choose from. If you choose to stay in you have a lovely terrace that will give you space to relax while keeping you in touch with the lively and welcoming atmosphere of town.
