Villa Sol graces the iconic long white sands of The Wilderness, a Garden Route seaside village set amongst indigenous forests, intertwining rivers and tree-fringed lakes. North-facing and with 360 degree views, Villa Sol is a place of breathtaking vistas, sun and warmth, and idyllic tranquility. Owned and operated by a third-generation Wilderness family, this magnificent five-bedroomed home is within easy strolling distance of the balmy waves of the Indian Ocean, the meandering Touws River and the quaint and charming Wilderness village with its myriad of restaurants and little shops.

‘Wilderness’ and ‘Garden Route’ – the names say it all: Wild indigenous forests. Mountains. Rivers. Lakes. Nature reserves. And of course warm waters, and rolling waves, and pristine beaches… And all this right on the doorstep of Villa Sol. So there’s hiking; climbing; running; cycling; fishing; surfing; swimming; kayaking. And bird-watching and dolphin-and whale-spotting… and sun-tanning and yoga retreats… and we haven’t even started on the iconic little restaurants… the dinky little shops… Having lived in and explored the area for many years, it always gives us great pleasure to help guests find those diverse and exciting things to see and do that may not always find their way into the ‘Tourist Top 10 Attraction’ list – those locally guarded little secrets… Our suggestions are of course based on duration of stay, time of year and, naturally, the weather.
