Our beautiful house is cheekily positioned on a small hill above the harbour of Gansbaai. From the garden and pool, you can enjoy a view over the sensational Walker Bay. MM Good Times offers comfortable accommodation in a unique setting with a long history and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The self-catering accommodation is tastefully decorated and has its own entrance. The accommodation offers sensational views of the harbour, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains in the distance. The accommodation is spacious and modernly furnished and has its own bathroom with shower. There is a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, glasses, crockery and cutlery. The Wi-Fi is good and fast everywhere, 100 Mbit, and we are independent of power cuts thanks to a solar power system. Bath and pool towels are provided. Guests can use the swimming pool on the property, which is shared with other guests.

Gansbaai is a small, relaxed fishing village with a long history. Founded in 1881, it was the capital of the great white shark for many years and famous for its sightings. Today, there are fewer great white sharks, but Walker Bay is famous for its whale watching opportunities from land. Whale season runs from July to November, and the whales can be easily observed from land and by boat. But even outside of whale season, Gansbaai and the surrounding region have a lot to offer. The trails along the coast are breathtakingly beautiful! The Walker Bay Nature Reserve, with its fynbos vegetation unique to the Western Cape, invites you to hike and linger, and in some places you can even swim a few laps in the sea. And we haven't even mentioned Stanford and Hermanus yet, both just a short, beautiful drive away. And then there are the wineries... Feel free to contact us.
