The Streeters

Water's Edge is a family holiday house on a tidal lagoon/river. Enjoy beautiful views across the lagoon to the mountain peaks of George with awesome sunsets and reflections. Allow children to paddle in the shallow waters or help you press prawns for the fishing hooks. A canoe is provided for your use, or bring your own craft to enjoy water sports with a slipway nearby. Walk to shops, restaurants, library, and beach.

The Streeters have owned the property since the 1940s, one of the first 4 "shacks" at the time. We now live in Port Elizabeth, London, Brisbane, and Charlotte, so our Property Manager, Anne-Mari Steenkamp and her husband Johan, will look after you. They will meet you at the property on arrival and open up the house for you. Her contact details will be provided on booking so that you can arrange a time with her to meet you at the premises - we kindly request that you arrive before 7pm as she will need to travel from off-site to meet you.
