I manage the visitor centre on the property - our family farm. I am an illustrator by profession, loves gardening, good writing, living a simple life close to nature and being surrounded by producers of excellent farm products.

Property info

The Watersides - 3 adjacent apartments sharing a wide verandah - offers a farm stay with beautiful, tranquil views over a large dam and distant Paarl Rock and Du Toitskloof mountains beyond. The rooms are comfortable, honest, and features kitchenettes ideal for self catering. The Studio is an open plan roomy and light space on the upper level of the visitor centre with a private baclony. It has a beautifull view over the waterfront garden, the dam, and beyond.

Neighborhood info

Waterside apartments are situated on a destination farm boasting a visitor centre operating guided croc pond tours, a wood fired pizzeria, ample play areas for kids, and fishing. It is situated in the winelands with many excellent experiences ranging from animal parks to wine tourism to eateries easily accessible. Cheeseries, wineries, deli's and farmstalls offer excellent farm produce, and the nearest town of Paarl, 10 minutes' drive away, offers extended shopping facilities.
