My name is Linda Kloppers, and I will be your host at Whale Cove A103. We have been residents of de Kelders for 11 years, and we are still in awe of the beauty surrounding us every day. De Kelders is truly one of the most beautiful pieces of coastline in the Western Cape. This is the perfect place to relax and get back to the beauty of nature. The rocky coastline, sandy beaches, and hiking trails along the coast is a nature lovers paradise. Walker Bay Nature Reserve is close by, and safe for hiking, runnin, or mountain biking. Weather you are active or just want to relax and chill, this is the perfect place to do so.

Whale Cove A103 is perfectly situated in de Kelders, Gansbaai. This lovely 3 bedroom apartment is fully equipped and perfect for a family or group of friends. From the balcony, the lounge area and the main bedroom you have unspoilt ocean views. Watch the magnificent sunsets of Walker Bay while relaxing and sipping on your favourite drink. During whale season, from August till November, you can watch the Southern Right whales from your balcony. We often see dolphins and humpback whales in the bay. The apartment is modern with quality appliances and bedding. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, stove, oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The spacious lounge has comfortable seating and a smart TV. On the balcony, you will find a gas barbeque and patio furniture. Both the lounge area and main bedroom have air conditioning. The bedrooms have ample closet space. All in all this is a very comfortable apartment, perfect for a family of 6 or a group of friends traveling together. De Kelders is a safe and peaceful neighborhood. With such magnificent ocean views it is safe to go for long walks along the coastline. The kids can still ride their bicycles in the streets. The Klipgat caves in Walker Bay nature reserve is worth a visit. Bring your Wild card should you have one. Gansbaai is well known for shark cage diving. Kleinbaai, where these activities take place, is a mere 10km from de Kelders. De Kelders is one of the best land-based whale watching spots. For the more adventurous, there is various companies doing boat-based tours to see the marine big 5. Gansbaai has excellent restaurants for top-class dining. The Overberg has various wineries and breweries. Franskraal beach, Stanfordscove beach and the beach in Walker Bay nature reserve are all easily accessable and perfect for family holidays.
