Whale Heights is a spacious coastal home in De Kelders, set above the cliffs of Walker Bay, one of the best land-based whale watching locations in the world. The house is designed around the ocean views, with an open-plan living area on the top floor that includes a lounge, dining space, fully equipped kitchen, indoor braai, and large glass doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the sea. During whale season (June to November), guests can often spot whales directly from the living area or while relaxing on the balcony. This level also features one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The ground floor offers additional space for relaxation, including a pool table and foosball area, along with three bedrooms and one shared bathroom. The layout works well for couples travelling together, small groups, or families wanting both shared living space and privacy. Guests have private access to the entire home. The property is located in a quiet residential area, offering a peaceful and relaxed stay.

Whale Heights is located in De Kelders, a quiet coastal village just outside Gansbaai, known for its dramatic cliffs, ocean views, and world-class whale watching. The coastline is within easy walking distance, with the nearest cliff access point approximately 100 metres from the house. From here, guests can enjoy some of the best land-based whale viewing spots in the region, as well as scenic coastal walks and caves. A small local restaurant is located nearby (within walking distance), where guests can enjoy meals with ocean views. For guests travelling the Garden Route, this is an ideal stop along the scenic coastal drive from Cape Town via Rooiels, Kleinmond, and Hermanus. This route offers beautiful ocean views, small local farm stalls, and multiple viewpoints along the way.
