Lemoentuin is truly the jewel of Malgas. This part of the Breede River is wonderfully wide, making it perfect for water sports, boating, and long, lazy days on the water. The sunrises and sunsets here are nothing short of spectacular, painting the sky with colours you’ll never forget. The neighbourhood is friendly, family-oriented, and wonderfully safe — the kind of place that brings back the charm of holidays from years gone by, when time with loved ones was the priority. Just under 5 km away, you’ll find a well-stocked local shop for all your daily needs (and anything you may have forgotten) — they even bake the most delicious fresh bread every day. The area also offers a cosy pub, a classic old-school hotel with hearty meals and a coffee bar, and several must-visit local gems. The Boathouse is an experience on its own, offering great pizza and a relaxed bar vibe — and you can get there by road or by boat!
