Wilderness Lake View has one of the best views over Island Lake and the surrounding area due to its elevated position. It gets all day sunshine and being north facing ensures that even in South African winter it is a warm place. This is why my family built there. It has a bright feel to it on account of the large windows. All rooms have a view over the lake.
I am Cathy, was born and raised in Ireland. I lived and worked in London. Roy my husband is South African and after many wonderful holidays to Wilderness we decided to leave London behind. Now 13 years later we are still loving Wilderness. I love meeting people and am delighted to share local information.
This is a quiet peaceful area with space between neighbours. There is a guest house on either side. The nearest shop, garage and hotel is just a 1km distant. Wilderness village is 5km. You need a car to get around. Conveniently near the N2 without the noise.
