A tranquil oasis in the centre of Barrydale, with a long garden going down to a river.
The flatlet is separate from the main house, with a courtyard in between. Access to the flatlet is down the side of the property. Kindly note that the flatlet does not have its own dining area. However, guests can sit on the balcony where there is a small table and two chairs.
There is a separate kitchenette, well kitted out with a gas stove, electric kettle, microwave, and fridge. All pots, pans, crockery and cutlery is supplied. The kitchenette is tiny, and not suited to big cook-ups due to limited prep space.
There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance where guests can eat, should they not wish to do their own cooking.
I do have a tenant on the property, and therefore due consideration to his peace and quiet needs to be taken. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information about the flatlet and its facilities. Dogs are not allowed.
As a tour guide, with in depth knowledge of South Africa, I like giving my guests tips and advice on how to spend their holiday. I am a keen hiker and cyclist, and can give you tips on hiking and cycling routes.
The property is well situated, in the middle of town. Once here, you can walk to all of the restaurants in town, and there is a supermarket about 100 metres away, in the same road. There are lots of quirky shops nearby, as well as lovely walks.
