We were upgraded to the Novotel next door because the Ibis was too full. The staff were great, notably Mr. Nyi Nyi at the front desk. He was extremely helpful and proactive. The room service and food delivery staff were also great.

Ibis Hotel Deira City Centre is still the best when you consider location and convenience when booking a room in Dubai. The only downside is when your flight is early and want your breakfast packed before the breakfast is served (service starts at 6:30 A.M.) since the packaged breakfast is not worth the amount you paid (AED.56.00). It's like getting ripped as it's not value for money.

Definitely one of the more up-scale Ibis hotels that I've stayed at. Room was very clean and well furnished. Staff were also very friendly. Would recommend, espcially if you're looking for a place that's in a central location. On top of this, I asked for a late checkout and the front desk did not hesitate to grant me that. All-in-all good experience.
