Front reception staff were most accommodating as had screwed up reservation. Room (221) was very spacious, gorgeous king bed, microwave, fridge, large bathroom with actual counter space , excellent towels, all needed amenities. Beautiful courtyard with the pool and hot tub. Liquor store on site. Pub restaurant on site with access from interior. Way above average ‘pub food’, great beer selection, and super waitresses! Included breakfast was actually not even. Breakfast lady very friendly and helpful.

We recently stayed at The Bears Den in Fernie, BC, and absolutely loved our time there. The suite was beautifully appointed—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Tucked just below Fernie Alpine Resort, the location was stunning, offering peaceful mountain views and easy access to the outdoors. As a dog-friendly property, it was perfect for us and our pup—plenty of space to roam and explore nearby trails. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into making it feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and well-equipped escape in Fernie!
