A sloth was hanging out in a tree near my rooms balcony (rm 11) and also saw a toucan from my balcony - the service was excellent!!

Amazing breakfast prepared by Steven. Great location in the jungle with much to see and very little noise from the road. Peaceful and relaxing hot tub, amazing swimming pool and vibe. Parking is available for guests and access is easy without a 4x4.

The staff was incredible!!!! We really appreciated our concierge Javier and our shuttle driver Johan- both so helpful and charismatic. The bungalow had a gorgeous view and was very comfortable. The private beach and the amenities there are amazing!! Would 100% return again to Tulemar.

Location was great - a short walk to the boardwalk area and downtown. Plus, next to the local catholic church (less crime). The architecture was cute and from the top (where the pool is located) there is a great view of the sunsets. There's an avocado tree growing over part of the pool. Breakfast is good, and you can order American or Tico style breakfast which is included in the room cost.

Location, big house for 2 people, two bathrooms, beautiful property

The property is tucked away from the city to avoid noise and feel like you are on a vacation getaway, but it’s close enough to the city to easily walk to nearby stores and restaurants. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. The pool is a great temperature and open late. Our favorite part of the stay is that the hotel is owned by a couple who believe in great quality. We could order coffees anytime that came on a tray with cute presentation. Breakfast and meals were the same, made and presented in an artisan manner to make us feel special. Overall, clean, safe, comfortable, with great food and in nature!
