We loved our stay! Upon arrival we were greeted with with a cold towel and delicious drink. Our family room was spacious and clean. The property is on a very high hill and they made great use of the space, very beautiful architecture.

It was filled with delicious foods. Location is amazing. Staff also friendly.

Family run guesthouse. Great folks. My friend wasn't feeling well and had purchased the wrong medicine at the local pharmacy. The proprietor drove me back into town to receive the proper medicine. This was unexpected and very kind.

Wonderful time at Majentra Ella Hotel! The hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved the balcony with the great view. The food at the hotel was delicious, with both local and international options. Breakfast definitely a highlight! The staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed, including arranging transportation to do things in the area (Big shoutout to Majit). Overall, I highly recommend Majentra Ella Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great food and service.

Coming from Dubai, our expectations for luxury and hospitality are naturally very high, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect before arriving in Ella. From the moment we stepped onto the property, however, every expectation was exceeded. The manager, Sura, welcomed us as though we were part of his own family rather than just hotel guests. Nothing ever felt impossible—if something wasn’t on the menu, it was specially prepared for us. When we wanted a spa experience, he arranged everything seamlessly. That level of genuine care and personal attention is something I’ve rarely experienced, even in Dubai. The entire stay felt like something out of a dream. Being escorted to our room not only by the wonderful staff but also by the property’s adorable pets made the whole experience feel magical and unforgettable. Nestled in a town like Ella, we never imagined we’d find this level of luxury, warmth, and attention to detail. A special mention also goes to Damit, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Whether it was warming up the pool, attending to our rooms, or fulfilling every little request with a smile, nothing was ever too much trouble. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable, luxurious, and memorable as possible. This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an experience we’ll never forget. Thank you to Sura, Damit, and the entire team for creating memories that will stay with us long after we’ve left.

I like the vibes there. Room was cozy. Since I was travelling solo, host lady gave me the room in corner and I felt safe. The breakfast was yum.

Wonderful friendly hosts. A great healthy breakfast with fresh fruit tea coffee and a warm dish too ( egg hoppers one morning!). Clean comfortable room with a view balcony, very fast WiFi, warm shower and nice common area. Walking distance from train station with a bit of a hill. We would stay again.

I stayed there 1 night, room is nice and clean, family is super nice and helpful,. Location is not in center but owner takes you from station with a tuktuk for free and can arrange trips with tuktuk . They have a nice garden and share their yummy products they grow with you :)
