We've stayed at this hotel twice now during our time here in Sri Lanka and we've been very satisfied both times. The hotel presents a great value. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the view is fantastic. We've been particularly impressed with the service we've received from Menura, he's been the gentleman that has helped us at the front desk and has been very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool bar ! We could leave our baggage there after our check out.

I loved staying at this beautiful, proud, authentic and uncompromising Sri Lankan family home come hotel, finished as it was to the highest of standards and so very tastefully decorated, all risen up from the once lakeside bank. I was greeted by my courteous hosts on arrival, respectful of my long journey from the UK, and made to feel welcomed and comfortable right away. My accommodation was as described and expected; it was immaculate (cleaned twice during my stay of three nights) and more than adequate for my needs. The food was delicious; although breakfast was lovely, my evening meals have been the best I have had here so far, being especially well cooked and prepared, further enhancing my first-time-in-Sri Lanka experience. The hosts arranged local tuc tucs and drivers for me, usually at short notice, and we're always keen to help out, particularly with timings on my leaving day. I said that if I came to Sri Lanka again I would stay here again and I meant it. Thank you all for the quality of all of your services and your thoughtfulness throughout my stay.

Great hospitality overall. Breakfast buffet was good and plenty to choose from. Even amid immense rush we were attended with a lot of care especially from the staff member named Udari .

We had an easy check in to room 1601 and everything was taken care of, our room was perfect. The staff checked in on us to make sure we were happy with everything at all times. From Ahamed, Christopher to Brindsley and everyone else who strived to make our stay an excellent one, we thank you. Your service sets you apart from the rest.

Such a beautiful boutique stay in Colombo. The property has so much character and feels thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details, from the art and antique style furniture to the peaceful courtyard and open spaces. It felt calm and elegant without trying too hard. The room was spotless, comfortable and very cozy for our one night stay. Breakfast was genuinely excellent, one of the best we had during the trip. The staff were also warm, welcoming and attentive throughout. It felt like a hidden little sanctuary in the middle of the city.

Arriving in Colombo first thing in the morning, we were super jet lagged and weren’t able to check in. But, the staff were extremely helpful… they allowed us to use the pool, made us coffee and cleaned the room immediately after the previous guests checked out so that we could get in our room. The place has a lovely feel about it, the rooms were so clean and spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable! It is in a great location, very central, but felt quite hidden away. It also has an Italian restaurant attached to it- it was very lively and seemed really nice, although we didn’t eat there. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a magical stay, we only stayed one night when we'd just landed in SL and it was so stunning, comfortable, the most peaceful stay amongst the hustle and bustle of Colombo. Perfect for what we were after. The owners were super lovely and made us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning before we headed south. Such a gorgeous accommodation and the room was big, peaceful, quiet and a great shower!

We had a great stay at the Sofia’s, the apartment was so clean, luxurious and beautiful! We loved the stunning views of Colombo! It was equipped with everything needed, the location was perfect, the security was very good and access to the apartment was very easy. The communication with the host (Noel) was very smooth. We had a great time at the pool as well. Hoping to stay here again next time we visit Sri Lanka.

Lovely suite of 4 bedrooms in a brand new building. We stayed for 2 nights with family and really enjoyed our stay. The host was lovely and communicative, the rooms were beautiful, and there was plenty of space and amenities to go around. I wish I had time to use the rooftop pool, but it looked great. Highly recommended!
