Hotels with Hot tubs in Armamar

I visited the Quinta da Barroca in May 2026 during my trip to the Douro Valley, and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere and surrounding views were absolutely beautiful. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall system and service of the hotel were exceptional. A special thanks to the receptionist, whose name was probably Alex. He was a very kind and helpful person and guided us very well throughout our stay. The breakfast was also good, and the best part for our family was the swimming pools. My children enjoyed them a lot. The nearby scenery outside the hotel was breathtaking and made the stay even more memorable. I would definitely love to visit again very soon.

It is a modern building with very big , nice and very comfortable rooms with front view to the vineyards hills and a little village. The large sitting area is bright and feels welcoming, the swimming pool is huge and has the same view as the rooms. The reception staff (Ruth) is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast is great and a short drive to Armamar will take you to nice little places to have dinner. We totally enjoyed our stay.

The property was great! We had the best view ever!!! It was easy to get around to the wineries and the apartment was very comfortable and super clean!

The host was amazing - apparently she is the owner's sister. Unfortunately we didn't speak Portuguese and she didn't speak English so we used google translate a lot! Charming town of 200 people who were very accommodating - especially our first nite preparing food just for us - I don't believe they were fully open yet . The apartment was spacious and clean with interesting decor. Had both washer and dryer which is unusual for Europe. Was too cold for the pool but we sat outside a lot. Stunning views of the surrounding area

The whole experience was great. The hot jacuzzi is such a great idea and it's magically to spend the sunset there

Lovely hotel, room very well appointed, close to the town, breakfast was delicious, very friendly staff. Lovely spa facilities.
